Pantin, the 9th of April 2009 – Despite the credit crunch, MORY posts a net profit and has presented its results to the press, announcing an increase in turnover of 3.9%.

Pantin, 22 September 2008 - MORY GROUP, one of the French leaders in transport and logistics, announced sales of € 462.5 million for the period 1 January to 30 June 2008, a 4.3% increase on a like-for-like basis, compared to the first half of 2007. This growth resulted in an increase in the group’s market share, in spite of the economic slowdown and the market deterioration.

MORY today confirms the launch of an operation aiming to strengthen the equity of the holding, after re-capitalization of its subsidiary MORY TEAM late last December.

In close agreement with its financial partners Bridgepoint and Barclays, Mory Group CEO, Alain Bréau, has decided to strengthen the financial resources of its main subsidiary, Mory Team, through a capital increase of 30 million euros, and the integration of dedicated distribution services, which were previously handled by other entities of the group.
